Lina Khan’s FTC is opening a probe into OpenAI looking to answer questions about data privacy practices, potential cybersecurity issues (there has been a data breach of ChatGPT user information already), and most notably whether their large language models could be damaging individuals' reputations by "hallucinating" false negative statements.
